Thermotherapy vs RF Massage: Which ZEZE Robotic Machine Fits Your Service?
Thermotherapy and RF massage sound alike, and some machines offer both. This guide separates the two terms, then shows which ZEZE robotic model families list heat, RF, both or neither on their current model pages. It is written for spa, salon, headspa and wellness-business buyers in Malaysia who are building a shortlist.
The short answer
Thermotherapy is heat. RF massage is massage delivered with a radiofrequency (RF) applicator. On some machines the two overlap, but they are separate lines on a specification sheet, so decide which functions your service menu needs and then check the model page. Functions vary by model and supplied configuration.

L Series lists robotic RF massage and thermotherapy. Functions and supplied accessories should be confirmed for your chosen package.
What each term means on a ZEZE model page
Thermotherapy: heat delivery. The M1 Thermal page lists a thermal energy system where radiofrequency energy is delivered through a dedicated thermal applicator. The L Series page lists thermotherapy with temperature control. The B Series page lists a roller thermal therapy head up to 45°C.
RF massage: massage using radiofrequency operation. The L Series page lists RF massage at 250 kHz. The F2 Recovery page lists an RF heating applicator. The R2 Signature page lists Octopole RF and Quadruple RF heads. The B Series page says RF massage is supported.
Heating listed; RF unconfirmed: the R1 Essential page lists a heating function alongside finger simulation massage, negative pressure and muscle release. It does not list an RF function.
Moxibustion: a different function again. F1 Radiance is a moxibustion system. Its page states that thermotherapy and RF massage are not included.
One technical note for your electrical checklist: the 250 kHz on the L Series page is its RF operating frequency. It is not the mains frequency. The M1 Thermal page lists a separate 50 Hz supply frequency. Keep the two apart when you compare specifications.

NUSBE M1 Thermal uses a dedicated thermal applicator in an operator-supervised workflow.
Which model families list which function
This comparison is taken from the current model pages. A function not listed on a page is not assumed, so confirm anything else in a written quotation.
M1 Thermal: operator-supervised robotic thermotherapy. Radiofrequency energy through a dedicated thermal applicator. Also lists 3D body mapping, 6 to 50 N adjustable contact pressure and infrared temperature monitoring. No integrated bed is listed.
L Series: robotic RF massage and thermotherapy with adjustable energy and pressure, automatic path planning, and automatic or manual applicator use. RF operating frequency 250 kHz.
F2 Recovery: RF heating applicator, vacuum suction for cupping and a shockwave acoustic module, with a 6-axis arm, touchscreen and preset routines.
B Series: integrated robotic massage bed with five standard heads, including a roller thermal therapy head up to 45°C and a hot stone head. RF massage is supported, so confirm the supplied RF accessories in your written package.
R2 Signature: nine heads including RF heads (Octopole RF, small and large Quadruple RF), stone moxibustion and a handheld heat massage head, plus shockwave and ultrasound modules.
R1 Essential: finger simulation massage, heating, negative pressure and muscle release. RF is not listed on its current page; confirm the supplied configuration with ZEZE.
F1 Radiance: moxibustion only. No thermotherapy and no RF massage.
Choosing by function, not by name
Start from the service you want to offer, then match it to what the page lists.
If you want a dedicated robotic thermotherapy system with body mapping and live force and temperature feedback, shortlist M1 Thermal and ask how a separate bed and operator access fit your room.
If you want RF massage and thermotherapy on one machine with adjustable energy and pressure, and a choice of automatic or manual applicator use, shortlist L Series.
If you want RF heating combined with cupping and shockwave in one robotic configuration, look at F2 Recovery.
If you want a bed and robot in one setup with heated upholstery and warm-head options, look at B Series.
If your menu is heating, negative pressure and finger-style massage, R1 Essential is the page to read. RF is not listed, so confirm the supplied configuration. If you need a wide head set including RF heads, compare it with R2 Signature.
If moxibustion is the service, F1 Radiance is the dedicated moxibustion-only model in this comparison. Do not choose it for thermotherapy or RF massage.
The whole range is on the robotics catalogue if you want to compare every family side by side.
Checklist: what to ask before you request a quote
Which listed function do I need: heat, RF, both, or neither?
Which heads, applicators and modules are in the supplied package, named one by one?
Does the machine include a bed, or do I need to plan for a separate one?
What are the dimensions, weight, electrical supply and regional version for my room and delivery route?
Which functions work on the touchscreen without Wi-Fi, and which need connectivity or carry software charges?
What conformity documents, installation, training and warranty terms come with the written quotation?
Which operator workflow does the supplier demonstrate for the exact model I am considering?
Frequently asked questions
Is thermotherapy the same as RF massage?
No. Thermotherapy refers to heat. RF massage refers to massage using a radiofrequency applicator. Some ZEZE models list both, such as L Series, and M1 Thermal describes its thermotherapy as radiofrequency energy through a thermal applicator, so read each model page for what is actually listed.
Does R1 Essential include RF massage?
The current R1 Essential page lists finger simulation massage, heating, negative pressure and muscle release. RF is not listed. If RF heads matter to you, compare R2 Signature, which lists RF heads on its page.
Does F1 Radiance include thermotherapy?
No. F1 Radiance is a moxibustion system, and its page states that thermotherapy and RF massage are not included.
How do I confirm the exact configuration I would receive?
Ask for a written quotation that names the selected configuration, included accessories, delivery, installation, training, software charges and warranty terms, and ask to see the model you are considering in a demonstration.
See the exact model in person
Tell ZEZE which model you want to see and what services you plan to offer. Book a business demo and ask for a written quotation for the model you shortlist.
